This trip is one of the assignment for this semester subject "Travel Agency and Tour Operators" . So, our class divided to two groups. Our group are planing to go Tempurung Cave and Taiping. I know when you heard 'Taiping' already sounds bored, and taiping got what to play huh? waste money only. If for me, i think i won't go too, if wanna go also go by car with some friends. haha. Btw, it's an adventurous trip, maybe some people will prefer go to some place that modern a bit. Anyway, our trip participant is full. We hit the target of people we want! heee <3 In the whole day, i like the Tempurung Cave part the most, it's really like going for adventure, there are four Tour in this cave, we all are choosing to Tour3. Inside the cave, i feeling like the movie 'Lost' . lOl.
7:30 AM wait at college canteen.
The first destination, Tempurung Cave.
Mr. Chuah Chow Aun. He is the second generation in the family who own a charcoal factory since the 1930's. Mr. Chuah is a gifted story teller and it is hard not to listen to his passionate explanations of the charcoal production process.
A cone is used for around 15 years. Once the cone is finished, the logs are brought inside and heated. The process is in fact very simple and complicated at the same time.
It's all about the right temperature, so the process have to be monitored 24 hours a day.

They're so exhausted after the cave.
Second destination, Mangrove Forest at Taiping.
Mangrove forest is in many ways important. It protects the inlands from floods, creates an ecosystem unique in animals and plant life. And it creates employment for many people living here because of it's mix of salt sea water and fresh water coming from the rivers and rain fall.
Next destination, Charcoal Factory.
Only located opposite of Mangrove Forest.
